Memories
I Help You Be Remembered
If it can be dreamed, it can be engraved.
At Boyd’s Gifts & Engraving, I believe a gift should be more than something wrapped in a box.
It should mean something.
It should make someone stop and smile. It should bring back a memory. It should honor a life, celebrate an accomplishment, recognize a sacrifice, or simply remind someone that they are loved.
That is why I don't see what I do as simply engraving wood, metal, acrylic, glass, or other materials.
I help you be remembered.
Every Piece Has a Story
Behind every custom order is a person and a reason.
Maybe you're honoring a soldier who served our country.
Maybe you're celebrating a retirement after decades of hard work.
Maybe you're giving a father something that represents his children.
Maybe you're remembering someone who is no longer here.
Maybe you're creating something for a wedding, anniversary, birthday, promotion, graduation, or another milestone.
Or maybe you simply have an idea in your head that you can't find anywhere in a store.
That's where I come in.
You bring me the idea, the photograph, the memory, the name, the date, or even just a rough description of what you're imagining—and together we turn it into something you can hold onto.
A Photograph Can Become a Memory You Can Hold
Some of the most meaningful pieces I create begin with a photograph.
A wedding day.
A parent and child.
A beloved pet.
A military portrait.
A family member who has passed away.
A moment that someone wishes they could freeze in time.
Photos live on our phones and computers, but there is something different about holding a memory in your hands.
When that photograph becomes part of a custom engraved piece, it becomes something that can be displayed, touched, and passed down.
Honoring Those Who Served
Military engraving holds a special place in my heart.
Rank, unit insignia, jump wings, challenge coins, dates of service, flags, photographs, and other military details aren't just decorations.
They represent service, sacrifice, pride, and memories.
Whether you're looking for a retirement gift, promotion gift, welcome-home piece, memorial, coin rack, plaque, or something completely custom, I want the finished piece to reflect the significance behind the service.
Because sometimes a simple name and a date represent an entire lifetime of dedication.
Remembering Those We Love
Some of the hardest pieces I create are also some of the most meaningful.
Memorial engravings allow families to keep a connection to someone they love.
A photograph.
A favorite saying.
A name.
A special date.
A beloved pet.
A mother.
A father.
A friend.
Someone whose physical presence is gone but whose place in your heart never will be.
I know that no engraved piece can replace someone.
But sometimes having something tangible to hold onto can bring comfort when a memory is all you have left.
Your Idea Doesn't Have to Come From a Catalog
One of my favorite things about custom work is that there isn't always a right answer.
You don't have to walk into Boyd's knowing exactly what you want.
You can walk in and say:
“I have an idea, but I don't know how to make it.”
That's okay.
Let's figure it out together.
Maybe it's something I've never made before.
Maybe it's a combination of several different ideas.
Maybe it's something completely unique to your family.
That's the beauty of custom work.
It doesn't have to look like everyone else's.
It should look like yours.
Why Boyd's?
Boyd's Gifts & Engraving isn't a big factory where your order disappears into a production line.
It's my small business, my creativity, and my commitment to making something meaningful for you.
Every piece that leaves my shop represents someone's story.
And I don't take that lightly.
I know that when someone trusts me with a wedding photograph, a military career, a memorial, a family keepsake, or an idea they've carried in their head for years, they're trusting me with something that matters.
That's why I put my heart into what I create.
Because Someday, These Things Become Memories Too
Years from now, the person who receives your gift may not remember everything they received that year.
But they may remember the engraved plaque on their wall.
The photograph of their parents.
The retirement gift they received after serving their country.
The memorial piece that reminds them of someone they loved.
The recipe box filled with family recipes.
The keepsake their grandmother gave them.
Those are the things that become part of a family's story.
And that is what I hope to create at Boyd's.
Not just gifts.
Memories.
Keepsakes.
Stories you can hold.
Because at Boyd's Gifts & Engraving,
I help you be remembered.
If it can be dreamed, it can be engraved.
